About Run The Bench

Run The Bench is a basketball coaching app operated by EP Digital Pty Ltd in Western Australia. It helps coaches manage teams, players, basketball substitutions, fair playing time, live game recommendations, fixtures, match settings, game history, and post-game insights.

Run The Bench is a coaching support tool. It does not replace a coach's judgement, duty of care, club policies, school policies, league rules, or safety obligations.

Who can use Run The Bench

Run The Bench is intended for coaches, team managers, clubs, schools, and authorised adults. It is not intended for children to create accounts directly. You must be able to form a binding agreement with EP Digital Pty Ltd or have authority to use the app on behalf of an organisation.

Youth teams and player information

If you enter player information into Run The Bench, you confirm that you have appropriate permission, consent, or authority to do so. This may include permission from a parent, guardian, school, club, association, or player where applicable.

You are responsible for:

• entering accurate and appropriate team information;
• avoiding unnecessary sensitive information;
• managing access to your device and account;
• complying with child safety, privacy, school, club, and association requirements; and
• using the app in a way that supports fair and safe participation.

Account registration and security

You may sign in using supported authentication methods such as Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or phone OTP. You are responsible for keeping your account and device secure and must notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Run The Bench for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes;
• upload content you do not have permission to use;
• enter information that is false, misleading, or unnecessarily sensitive;
• attempt to access another user's account or data;
• interfere with app security, availability, or performance;
• reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the app except as permitted by law; or
• use the app to harass, discriminate against, or unfairly target players.

Coaching recommendations and fair playing time

Run The Bench may provide live recommendations, playing time calculations, and post-game insights. These features are decision-support tools only. Coaches remain responsible for all substitution decisions, player safety, eligibility, competition rules, and team management decisions.

Fixtures, game records, and statistics

We aim to make game-day tools useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that calculations, recommendations, or records will always be complete, accurate, or available. You are responsible for checking important information, especially where it affects player participation, safety, or competition compliance.

Subscriptions and payments

Run The Bench may offer free and paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Purchases may be processed by Apple, Google, and/or RevenueCat, and your payment relationship may be with the relevant app store provider.

Subscription terms, renewals, cancellations, and refunds may be governed by Apple App Store or Google Play policies. Unless required by law or app store policy, fees may be non-refundable. Deleting your Run The Bench account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Waitlist and launch communications

If you join the waitlist, we may contact you about launch updates, product availability, and related announcements. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the app, early access, pricing, features, or release timing.

User content

You retain ownership of information and content you enter into Run The Bench, such as team names, player details, fixtures, and uploaded team logos. You grant EP Digital Pty Ltd a licence to host, process, store, display, and use that content as needed to provide and maintain Run The Bench, and to improve the service subject to our Privacy Policy. This does not mean we sell player or team data or use it for advertising.

App availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but Run The Bench may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, third-party services, or events outside our control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves.

Intellectual property

Run The Bench, including its app design, software, branding, website, text, graphics, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to EP Digital Pty Ltd. You may use Run The Bench only for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms.

Third-party services

Run The Bench relies on third-party services for functions such as authentication, database hosting, subscriptions, analytics, app distribution, and optional notifications. These providers may have their own terms and policies.

Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Run The Bench, you agree that we may collect and handle information as described in that policy.

Termination

You may stop using Run The Bench at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the app, create security risks, or if we are required to do so by law or platform rules.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Run The Bench is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, that recommendations will be suitable for every coaching situation, that all data will always sync instantly or perfectly, or that the app will meet every club, school, league, or association requirement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EP Digital Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of Run The Bench.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Run The Bench develops. If changes are material, we may notify users through the app, website, or email. Continued use of Run The Bench after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You submit to the courts of Western Australia and applicable Australian courts.
